Friends U Need, affectionately called “The FUN Club” by its members, offers a (year-round) safe and structured daily enrichment program Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. We provide a multitude of services including adapted education, community service, personal enrichment, physical fitness opportunities and daily living skills.

CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO FRIENDS U NEED CLUB, INC.
- Should be able to follow one-step instructions and engage in activities in a group setting of one staff member and up to 5 participants without full-time support
- Should not require regular full-time one-on-one assistance due to physical, cognitive, or medical needs.
- Able to communicate verbally and contribute to a conversation
- The individual is ambulatory
- Able to use the bathroom without assistance
- Able to function within a group without one-on-one support
- Able to focus on a task and follow directions
- Cooperative, compliant, willing, and able to engage in program activities
- The individual is not violent to themselves or others. Must not have aggressive or violent attitudes or behaviors
- The individual is not dependent on any illegal drugs or alcohol
EXCLUSIONARY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO FRIENDS U NEED CLUB, INC.
- Self-harm
- Has been or is currently incarcerated
- Has received in-patient treatment for psychiatric services within the last year
- Setting fires
- Suicidal or homicidal thoughts
- Sex offender
Members served at The FUN Club function at a high to moderate level. FUN Club members must be able to participate in activities provided in-house as well as off campus field trips.
- The individual's primary diagnosis is an Intellectual Disability which may include, but is not limited to, the following: Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, Prader-Willi, Williams Syndrome, Acquired Brain Injury (injury occurred early in the individual's life).
- The individual is 22 years or older with mild to moderate disabilities and meets the following guidelines:
- Should be able to follow one-step instructions and engage in activities in a group setting of one staff member and up to 5 participants without full-time support

- The individual has a history of the following:
